Merisis advises Koye Pharmaceuticals on its debt fund raise from BlackSoil Capital

Merisis Advisors is pleased to announce INR 30 crore debt fund raise for its client Koye Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd, a pharmaceutical
manufacturing company, from BlackSoil Capital

Koye Pharma was founded in 2013 by Preetish Toraskar and Ravindra Shenoy, both veterans of the pharma industry. Collectively they
have around 50 years of experience, which includes leading multi-national pharma companies as their managing directors

One of the fastest growing mid-sized pharmaceutical companies, Koye offers branded pharmaceutical products across therapeutic segments including womens healthcare, respiratory care, primary care, diabetes care and consumer healthcare. The company has a pan India presence and robust distribution network which covers over 1.4 lakh retail pharmacies. It employs over 400 qualified ambassadors who meet more than 50,000 doctors on a monthly basis across the country.

The company will primarily use the funds to strengthen its position in the domestic formulation market. It will also use funds for its working capital requirement which will arise with the growth of the company.

The company is backed by leading equity investors like Sequoia Capital, Premji Invest and has raised debt funding from InnoVen Capital.
